Siskins Café offers a fabulous range of freshly prepared home cooked food. There's a huge variety of sandwiches and toasted pannis, jacket potatoes and soups. The cake selection is famous and has something for everyone, including the more adventurous - parsnip and lemon cake anyone? The cafe has a children’s menu and high chairs are available.

Mountain bikers and walkers are welcome and there is good access for the less able. On dry days, the south facing balcony is the perfect place to sit with a meal or drink and enjoy the fresh air, birdsong and lovely views over the forest and to Grisedale Pike. The bird feeders in the trees opposite attract many different types of birds.

There’s a picnic area by the café as well as picnic tables at Revelin Moss, Masmill and Noble Knott car parks.
