Opened in 2011, Whinlatter WildPlay is a unique children’s adventure trail. It’s 600m long and takes you through the trees to 9 different play zones. You can practice your engineering skills and draw water from the stream with an Archimedes screw or use the gravel mover to shift gravel around the pit. Try out the climbing wall and giant timber climbing frame or fly through the air on the log swing. For younger children, visit the fairy kingdom with its secret path and hidden carvings. The WildPlay Trail map can be downloaded from our downloads area here.
